Upward Drone Solutions implements a soft-wash system for its drone cleaning process. Soft-washing utilizes low pressure, 80-125 psi, to safely saturate and clean all exterior surfaces.
This differs from pressure washing, which operates between 1300-2800 psi. Pressure washing can dent or perforate vinyl siding, splinter wood, or etch concrete. It can strip finished surfaces and cause further damage to worn or aging areas of your facade. Water can be forced up and under siding and cause expensive problems such as mold and mildew, saturated insulation, or electrical wiring malfunctions. Additionally, pressure washing cannot safely be used on roofs or windows.
